S.A. owns and operates a state of the art laboratory in Kozani Prefecture, fully equipped with specialized and calibrated machines necessary for lignite quality control. Since 2017, the company has been extracting quartz following significant investments in the necessary infrastructure, including electromechanical equipment and machinery. The annual production capacity of the quarry is expected to exceed 90,000 tons. This activity contributes to local economy (by creating jobs and generating revenue for the Municipality of Florina through lease payments) and also to national economy, as nearly all production of
